When it comes to work, Id like to mention one of my favorite places to work, Andy B's. I started at Andy B's in February of 2021. I was just 16 and looking for my first job. I got hired as a game attendent and birthday party hostess. As a game attendent I was helping people on the arcade floor and checking out guests. As a party hostess, I was setting up party areas, attending to specific party guests, taking food and drink orders, and over all giving the guest a fun experience.
Around 2022, I left Andy B's to go work for a restauraunt with my best friend. At the time, I was frustrated because at Andy B's, they dont do automatic gratuity for partys. This led to me getting skipped out on many tips. After I was in college in 2024, I left the restauraunt job and was jobless for the time I was back home for holidays. I called Andy B's and they took me back in a heartbeat. I was rehired as a Party Hostess and Server.
When I went back the winter break of 2024, it felt so familiar and like I was back home. I ended up making more than my goal which set me up for the second semester of college. I made and rekindled some old friendships that Im still in touch with to this day. The summer of 2025, I went back and worked again. In June I won employee of the month due to my proactiveness and hard work. Sadly I left for back to college and had to say goodbye.
